I currently have 2 15" mtx 9500s dual voice coil. i have a mtx te1501d powering them, I'm trying to out do everyone in my city, so I'm gonna get 2 more 15" 9500s, i want to get the RF t40001bd. would it be dumb to power 4 mtx subs with 2 different brands and rms wattage amps with these subs? should i just get another te1501d or just get rid of the one i have. Please give me some ideas. ps... i will be getting 2 kinetic 2400s and i already have a 350 h/o alt.

you've got a beast of a sound system there; but really its okay if you use two different amps as long as they're wired to the same ohm load =)

the most important part is how you build the enclosure!! i met a guy who's a audio shop owner with an s-10 regular cab, it has 2 10" kicker solo x's and a pair of 2500w kicker mono amps (one per sub) that

yes it would be dumb . don't do that it wont sound right.do it right just get 1 big amp to power them at the right ohm level. wire your subs to match the amp or you will be loosing a lot of power. and if you get a big amp you will need to get a big 400 amp alternator and 3 or 4 battery's to power the amplifier. and yes rockford fosgate amp sounds good or a 2 big kicker zx2500.1 amp each amp is at 2 ohms. the rockford is a 1 ohm amp.....good luck
