Moulin Rouge: We Should be LOVERS

A Beautiful Mind was a great movie though. As much as I love Moulin Rouge...ABM was a great film.

I wish they'd make more films like Moulin Rouge..musicals you know...Chicago sucked...

Oh what a great movie. :)

And I agree. The Roxanne song where they were semi-together. It was great.

I watched this movie nearly everyday when it came out on DVD--and my brother and I drove nearly 1 1/2 hours away when they re-released it in theatres because of the Oscar Nominations.

It's a fun movie that's amazing in every detail. I still say it should have won best picture (I believe it lost to A beautiful mind...I could be wrong)

that's like me and my dad. He'd always be like "you're watching it AGAIN!"
I can't help that I love the movie so much.

I love Baz's crazy, manic style of storytelling. I hope his next movie "Australia" is just as crazy.

It's odd at first.

I rememeber the first time I watched it was at a sleep over and the rest of the girls loved it, so I had no choice. I didn't like.

Then we watched it after a depressing Orlando Bloom movie marathon because we needed something 'happy' and even though you know, it so wasn't, I randomly fell in love. Then I got it last year for Christmas and watched it 13 times the following January.

In fact, I need to watch it again.

There was a time when I watched this every day. I used to change it before my frined walked in because he was SO tired of it. He always arrived when I was watching it too. The guy had a timing. Heh.

There was a thread for this some time ago. Not sure what happened. Thanks for starting it up again.

I love  this movie! One of my faves.

Ewan and Nicole were just teriffic together. :sigh:

I wish Nini got together with the Argentinian. It doesn't matter that she's a prostitute.

Aw yes, and the part where he gets tossed into the streets. Poor Christian :(

This picture will always be my favorite of them

I love this movie! I had originally bought the single disc copy, but after seeing it I had to hunt down and buy the 2-disc version. I also have 2 different versions of the soundtrack. :P

Some of my favorite parts are when Christian sings 'Your Song' to Satine and the final 'Come What May' scene.
