Moulin Rouge: We Should be LOVERS

I haven't heard any new news. I don't think anything can ever beat MR, but I'll give Australia a try.

oh good.

what's your fav MR costume?

I had this idea of using Satine's hindi wedding dress as my wedding dress in the future.

it was cut beautifully.
I love the dvd extras that show the different camera angels simultanoulsly

I ship Nini and the Argentinian.
They did have good chemistry.

I would definatly try to dress up for a midnight showing.

I want to be a smoldering temptress.

I love the black one better too. so many pretty sparkles on that dress.

I could never get enough of the scene when they sing Come What May at the end. I always think of that scene.

I love Bazs style of directing, its so different and fun, I cant wait for Australia!

nope, it's not weird because I wanted it to be my wedding song, too, and I wanted to walk down the aisle to the instrumental version of "Your Song"

i absolutely love this movie. I'm planning on having come what may as my first dance when I get married....whenever that is. haha is that weird that i already have it picked out?

 the photo

The Duke is so stupid for not seeing lipstick all over Christian's face when he walks in on them

I was reading about the red and blue lights used in the movie. Red is for Satine and blue is for Christian. in the tango scene Satine is lit in blue cause she's emersed in Christian's world and in love with him, but he has red lights around him cause he's jealous. It's not until he lets out that scream that he goes back to blue.
I hope I explained it well

Nice to see a thread for this movie here. This is probably my favorite movie of all time. I remember at one point the Moulin Rouge thread was at #77 or someting but that was some years ago then.

When I first bought MR I hadn't seen the movie yet and didn't know there was a 2-disc.

The store I got it from only had the single disc version. I had to wait until the week after to buy it though. My Dad wouldn't let me get it, even though I would be using my own money because he didn't think it was a very good movie. Didn't think I would like it either. I went back the following weekend with my mom, bought it, watched it, fell in love with it. Several months later I hunted down a 2 disc copy.

I don't know what my dad was thinking when he said it wasn't a good movie. I can't count the number of times I've watched it.

LOVES the last pic. Awww I wish/hope they do another movie together. That would be so kool
