Hi Wiggysan, I still don't think it will happen, though I see the sense in the report. But whats to stop kawasaki still insisting on a Japanese rider. the way things went when he was looking for a team might have left a bit of bad blood. I think Kawasaki would have a right to ask dorna for the money they would give him. and if that happens all the other teams will want discounts too. I see the Tv rights question too. its a sticky situation, but I think the way they will go is to reduce the number needed to make a world championship. it will come out of necessity.

Well its all here : http://www.motogpmatters.com/news/2009/01/04/aspar_could_just_run_one_kawasaki_and_wi.html

I said a little while back on crash_dot_net that Aspar would be only running one Kwacker for 2009 ( if he runs any at all ) and it looks like it wont be Hooper.

Rumblestrip has reported that a close friend in the racing world is preparing a DMG superbike for a home rider with #21 on it.

Its all up in the air untill tomorrow's press announcement.

If its not Hooper, I cant see Aspar keeping Marco, so who do you think they run the team with. Alvaro is tied up with the 250 effort, so who do you think ?
