Most Under rated Movies Ever

I have to agree with the OP about Galaxy Quest, very funny and great acting aswell.

Others I feel are very under rated are "Howard The Duck" sure it had some pretty poor special effects but has taken on quite a cult following. And I am sure I will get some stick for this too but I loved the Dana Carvey film "Master of disguise" and dont understand why it is panned so much.
 
I cant give you masters of disguise as it is just one big pile of Sh!t!!!!!!!!


However if you had said Fortress with christopher lambert that would of been a much better choice!!
 
I love pleasantville. I can never get anyone to watch it but it is so moving and funny. Im so glad you put it here.

Snow Cake is another great movie - Sigourney Waever and Alan Rickman make it amazing.
 
The Hard Way - Michael J. Fox and James Wood provide some real comedy, I think. This is the only movie that I actually like watching Fox.



I'm with Dennis Pennis on that film.

I do like Costner, but he's made some strange films.
 
dare i say waterworld.

i had heard so much crap before seeing this film, it had been slated left, right & centre. then when i saw it i thought "hey, you know what, that was pretty damn good" ok, not great or a classic but so much better than the panning it took.
