Most shocking or disturbing film?

Hmmm, I think you must have seen the edited version, although admittedly I didn't make it very far into the film, they kill a poor little guniea pig creature quite soon in, which was certainly real and I felt vile afterwarRAB for having seen it. Where I said 'no more' was when they started to punish the 'tribal' woman for adultery - gut-wrenching violence and perving rolled into one, I nearly threw up. I'm a lot more careful about what I let myself watch now, somethings you just don't want in your head. :(
 
Brain Dead is supposed to be a comedy, as is Bad Taste, the previous version. That said, I still couldn't watch them, they made me feel queasy - 'Did ya drink the chuck, Oz' :eek: :D
 
Braindead is amaaaaazing :]...

The only shocking thing about it is the sheer amount of fake blood and offel they had to provide for the lawnmower scene.

Ahhhh classic Peter Jackson.
 
Just watched Society again, its not disturbing just silly B movie actors shuving there arms up people and turning them inside out, lovely!
 
Don't know if it's already been mentioned but I rented 'Grimm Love' with a mate of mine, we thought it looked quite interesting.
Tiz based on the true story of the man from Germany that advertised on the internet for someone to eat.
It had the potential to be really good but sadly fell a bit short of the mark. Still, it did disturb us a little bit...to think that people really are like this.
 
You wont want to watch Cannibal then which is the ACTUAL story of Armin Meiwes (it's not been released anyway, limited release in america i think).

The cutting of and eating of the penis scene and the final stripping of the body scene are quite hard to watch to say the least.

It relies on alot of black humour and shock-gore, and it is quite disturbing in some parts. One guy gets meathooks gored through the skin of his back and has to hang from a ceiling... and then either Ichi or Kakuzawa (forgotten their names heh) throws a load of boiling grease on the poor guy being tortured.
 
I watched Scum when I was about 12, and it was disturbing, although I don't remember being too shocked by it. Strangely enough, 25 years on, I can't watch it whenever it's on TV. I just remember certain scenes that I'd rather not watch again, like the lad getting his head smashed into the sinks in the loo's, and the lad getting whacked round the head with the snooker balls in a sock.
I've got wussier as I've got older!

I've never watched The Exorcist, as my friend watched it and told me about it, and that was enough to put me off.

Halloween scared me for a few years after watching it when I was about 12 (again), and I still wouldn't watch it now.

Just wracking my brains to remember a film, that had a scene where a guy ended up with a knife being stuck into his eye, maybe it was Halloween?
