Most disturbing (chilling) scenes/sequences in animation

Y'know, I was talking about Teenage Dexter getting in trouble with Executive Mandark and I was describing the whipping scene between Mandark and Teenage Dexter as one of the most disturbing/chilling scenes in Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip. Y'know, some aspects of Ego Trip, the Dexter's Lab movie, might be inappropriate for the Federal Communication Comission to permit.

In addition, I was also talking about Sharptooth, that Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur that kills Littlefoot's mother (even though the earthquake finish her off), from the original 1988 Don Bluth Cartoon of the Land Before Time.

Any comments on Teenage Dexter getting into trouble with Executive Mandark in Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip and the whipping scene that follows and Any comments on Sharptooth from Land Before Time? Anyone?

First no offense but, don't reply to your own post. And for the record, when I was a kid, the Sharptooth never scared me. Quite frankly, I don't see how a T-Rex can be scary.

The creepest, mosting shocking animation scene/plot, that pushed the limits, that I have ever seen on TV was the last half of the Batman Beyond episode, "Out of the Past".

If you have seen the episode, you know what I am talking about.

Urotsukidoji IV is notorious for being banned in certain countries based on some of it's content. Though, having seen it, I did not find the 'questionable' content all that questionable.

Ok, double posting is against the rules. If nobody replies to what you say, FORGET ABOUT IT, people don't have to respond to your posts. Keep doing that and you're probably gonna piss off a mod

Other than that, NOBODY CARES about that scene in Ego Trip. The reason nobody's responding to it? NOBODY AGREES.

Basically any Oogie Boogie scenes from "A Nightmare Before Christmas" especially when he died. Not sure if it was the lighting effects, the music, or something else, it always send a chill down my spine when I was a kid.

One Piece Movie 6, Final confrontation part in particular. Infact the whole movie seemed dark for the fun going nature that is One Piece. That creeped me out for that factor.

Even though this might sound hypocritical... any onscreen death of the Strawhats mentors. Bellemere and Dr. Hiruluk deaths come to mind, murder and suicide infront of there loves one, that disturbing.

When I think of chilly, or creepy animation I immediatly think of the Feel Good Inc and El Manana music videos by the Gorillaz. The art is absolutely amazing and original...but when I first saw them both I was blown away by how haunting the videos are.

That's exactly how I feel about that nightmare sequence in The Prince of Egypt. The hieroglyphic art style is beautiful and original, but the dream itself is very....disturbing. And as for Feel Good Inc ( i've never seen El Manana), I agree, that music video is haunting. I've always wondering what they were smoking when they made it.

Yeah...I remember that scene. The music gave me chills! o.o It's amazing what music can do...

Man, you haven't seen El Manana? Go to youtube and look it up. It has the same haunting feeling as Feel Good inc...only in a more tragic way.

Oh yes, and also look up "Rock it" by the Gorillaz. That video disturbed me more than feel good inc (if that were possible)

I know there is more animated sequences from movies that affected me that way (though not as extreme) but I'll think more up later

The movie you're thinking of is Winnie the Pooh. that one never bothered me, but I can see how those 2 dream secens are simular.

One scene that creeped me out as a kid was in We're Back! A Dinosaur Story where the main villian, Professor Screweyes, after being abandoned, a flock of crows cover his entire body then when the crows seperate, the screw that was on his eye was the only thing that remained.

Some ones I thought of
-The part in Pinnochio where the Lampwhick (or whatever his name is) turn into a donkey. Creepy stuff

-The begining of "Toxic Love" from Fern Gulley where that slime turned into a skeleton for a few seconds. Again more creepy stuff.
