Most disturbing (chilling) scenes/sequences in animation

Yep. The Swimming Pool Scene in Ego Trip may have stuff that is controversial and inappropriate for a Cartoon Network show like Dexter's Laboratory. But it's pretty tame and not that disturbing and chilling.

No, it's not. Please stop. And don't reply to your own post. No one has to respond to it.

It's a CGI T Rex roaring. Cool? Yes. The most chilling and disturbing animated image ever? No.

Again Timmy, no one has to respond to this. If this "Have you seen it? What do you think of my dinosaur Youtube links" is all you ever intend on doing here, then you might as well do it somewhere else. Please.

Anyway, I'm suprised no one like you here has mentioned this one yet (unless you did and you overlooked it), but while we're talking about Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip, let's add the whipping scene between Executive Mandark and Future Teenage Dexter, one of the most disturbing and chilling animated scenes you or I've seen.

It started out with Teenage Dexter getting up, taking a bath, brushing his teeth, putting his glasses on and eating breakfast, before stopping by onto his computer. He was typing on it, and realizes the time (which is 8:52 am) and that he was almost late for work, so he logs on as Number 12. He has a conservation with his computer, until...Executive Mandark yells, "Number 12, you're almost late for work this morning!"

Teenage Dexter tries to speak but Mandark snaps back for him to report to his office immediately. Teenage Dexter was then chained to his chair and the chair and Teenage Dexter took off all the way to an giant, M-Shaped door. When the clock strucks 9 am, Teenage Dexter was pulled over to an office room for women (I don't like the looks of these women, 'cause I don't care about them!), until he stops and looks at a Head Secretary who said to him, "You're expected."

Number 12, aka, Teenage Dexter, was then pulled closer, scaring away some flamingos, pulling closer through paradise (including a tennis course) and pass some pea*****, pull through a bridge until finally, (Here's one of my favorite parts in Ego Trip, you guys) He stopped in a Jungle-infested swimming pool area-like paradise, where, (Are you watching?) those beautiful, pretty, lovely, hot and pretty girlies (one, blonde haired, the other, black haired) are washing Mandark's feet, wearing erotic bikinis. (wolf whistles) :D Boy, I wished I could flirt with and kiss either that blonde or that brunette, and I'll marry either of them and have children. :D I'll show a pictures of those beautiful, hot, pretty, and lovely sweeties who give Mandark a bath!

Well, Look at them, they're beautiful, hot, pretty, and lovely. I love those girls, 'cause they're hot! It's not because they have big breasts, it's just because of their closed eyes and red lips! Here's them with me digitally editing myself with them.

Well, that's all I've got for you. Anyway, Mandark said being almost late for work again is such a pity, and uh oh! when he got up, he exposes his ass to the whole wide world!!! :ack: But that's okay, he's just wearing a man thong! He claps his hands, then those beautiful, pretty, lovely and hot girlies who scrubs Mandark's feet, got up, turn around and run off in the distance in an erotic streak!!! :ack: Man, that half-naked erotic streak from the girls puts me off nowadays!

But that's okay, all we see while Mandark was Teenage Dexter was the arms from those same girls that we've seen earlier, putting deordorant on Mandark's arm pits, cleaning his fingernails, shaving Mandark, poking out his unibrow, and putting his whitey tighty or underwear on! Here's what Mandark said to Teenage Dexter:

Teenage Dexter then got his clothes ripped off and tied to some machine, only to face a laughing, executive Mandark, which is shown for the very first time. The Present Day Dexter, having been caught in the street for unauthorized walking by a security robot, then sees a televised image of Mandark speaking to the workers to join him while he whips Teenage Dexter, and then turns to Teenage Dexter, and he said he had paddling to do, but Mandark refuses (or maybe balks at) to accept his paddling, and so Teenage Dexter turns around, and with the saying of "Now make a wish!" and twice, "Again!" He whips Teenage Dexter three times, and you can see a horrific imag of Teenage Dexter screaming in reaction to the burns from the electric whip, which is repeated twice, while the present day Dexter watches in bewilderment. After the whipping, you can see Teenage Dexter wheezing after screaming, and Dexter turns around and said to us, "That's me." and then collaspes. Mandark appears one more time and then the TV is turned off.

Hope that helps. Beware all that, including the whipping scene between Mandark and Teenage Dexter!

You know you don't make much sense, do you? I've seen the scene, and it's sure as hell a lot tamer than some of the crazy **** they get away with on, say, Billy and Mandy.

Okay, before this descends too far into "disturbing scenes in Internet forums"...

Anyone ever see Jan Svankmajer's Alice? Plenty of freakish stuff there. My personal favourite bits include Alice shrinking and, in the process, changing from a alive action girl to a stop-motion doll. When she grows again she turns into a giant doll, with the girl stuck inside, her eyes looking out through the doll's empty sockets. Brr. elsewhere in the film we're treated to the sight of lumps of raw meat wriggling about like caterpillars. Good stuff all in all.

Gee, MonkeyFunk, what you've talking about in Jan Svankmajer's Alice is pretty bizarre and wierd, and even strange isn't it? Well, anyway, I was talking about Teenage Dexter getting in trouble with Executive Mandark and I was describing the whipping scene between Mandark and Teenage Dexter as the most disturbing/chilling scene in Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip. Y'know, MonkeyFunk, some aspects of Ego Trip, the Dexter's Lab movie might be inappropriate for the Federal Communication Comission to permit. Everyone's think I was a disturbing, sad, sick, and wierd internet monster, but I'm not in reality. I am just a smart but autistic kid with creative genius and creative talent and creative skills and a pretty good imagination. You got that?

Even though I don't get scared easily but I did wonder about the sequence where Bane looks like he's about to explode in the B:TAS episode Bane when Batman malfunctioned Bane's venom device-whatever. I mean, look at this:

I love that image but I have wondered as to how this sort of thing got passed BS&P.

Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker director's cut or whatever its called. Chucky gets shot and killed by the Joker. The Tim Drake arc in the movie chilled me to the bone.

TNBA - "Over The Edge" Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) gets knocked off a 20 floor skyscraper by The Scarecrow and hits a car and dies in her father's arms. I know it was a dream sequence, but when I first saw the episode I didn't know that.

Pretty racey stuff for a Sat. morn toon.

Ninja Scroll - Well where do I begin? I know this toon was rated R but heads being ripped apart, rape, lots and lots of deaths...while the movie was EPIC to me, I still found aspects of the movie chilling and disturbing.

You know that one episode of Batman Beyond that ends with the reporter being unable to stay solid, so he sinks into the ground? That's always disturbed me.

Also, although it was never actually animated, the deleted scene in Lilo and Stitch where Pudge and Lilo get mauled by seagulls (killing Pudge) while Stitch watches with a big grin on his face.

That hallucination sequence from Akira creeped me the heck out, I can tell you that. You know, the one where the toy car vomits, and the teddy bear has those big rippling veins in his head and stuff. OOoohhhh... no thank you.

Well, one of the most disturbing/chilling scenes in animation may be the scenes with the ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex, Sharptooth, during The Land Before Time (the original 1988 Don Bluth Cartoon), especially when Sharptooth the T-Rex fights Littlefoot's mother. I can see their shadows in a rockface while Sharptooth the T-Rex attacks Littlefoot's mother as Littlefoot and Cera watches. That T-Rex named Sharptooth is ferocious enough to cause a bad dream or two. Have you seen Sharptooth the T-Rex? Or what?
