I recently found out a lot more about my genealogy and was able to trace my family back to a small town called Parschuetz in Germany. As it turns out, this is now a town called Parszczyce in Poland, about 50 miles north of Gdansk (Danzig). All of the old census records from my family said they were German, spoke German, etc., but as this is Poland now, would everyone speak Polish in the area or is German still prevalent? From looking online I saw that in 1923 about 95% of the people in the region were of German heritage, has this changed significantly?
