Can you tell me a good amp to Power my Kicker CVR 15? Im looking to get more out of it. Im only pushing about 280 rms to it now...

Inktown's answer is very informative in helping you to make the decision.

But if you wanted to stick to Kicker, then the one-liner from Robert is spot on - provided that you have a dual voice coil (dvc) 4ohm CVR15. Then you can just wire the two coils in parallel to bring the impedance down to 2ohm and the 500W rms on your sub and amp would be a perfect match.

However, if you have a dvc 2ohm, then your sub wiring could either get you a 4ohm or 1 ohm load.

In that case I would suggest the ZX550.2 (2channel amp delivering 550W rms in bridged mode) - just wire the coils in serie to have impedance of 4ohms.

Hope it helps.

I would go with this amp.

that depends on the subs impedance (ohms) and how its wired

kicker CVRs come in 2 and 4ohm versions and they are DVC so depending on your wiring
with the 2ohm version you can get impedances of 1 or 4ohms at the amp
with the 4ohm version you will get an impedance of 4ohms at the amp
this will help you with that http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp
the lower the final impedance the lower the sound quality but its easier/cheaper it is to power (i don't go below 2ohms for my final impedance)

you need an amp that has about 500watts RMS @ the correct final impedance and is also CEA-compliant which means that the amp has been tested and produces or exceeds the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion
here are the top CEA-compliant brands
Alpine
Bazooka
Blaupunkt
Clarion
Eclipse
Infinity
JBL
JL Audio
JVC
Kenwood
Kicker
Lightning Audio
MTX
Orion
Pioneer
Polk Audio
PPI
Rockford Fosgate
Sony
