After having a new expensive clutch put in my 1999zetec mondeo 2.0, the radio needs its code. Which i don't have(arg). So i understand that you can obtain the code if you can find the serial number of the radio.Which means getting the ford radio removal keys(looks like two u shaped bits of coathanger) to slide the radio out.
So i have tried this but the radio seems to be jammed in the dash thoroughly-even when keys are pushed in fully to try and remove.
Am i doing something wrong?Or is it likey i would need another tool?I refuse to pay 40quid to ford!
The radio unit has four small rectangle holes for removal, two either side of the unit.....
Hope someone can help....!
