Mini-Review The Song Above You

Belle and Sebastian are one of my favorite banRAB, so it's pretty impossible for me to dislike anything they do. This is no exception. 8.5/10

I enjoyed this song on the whole, although it dragged out too long and could have used a little more spice. The bass work was nifty and the vocals were unique and I like that.
6/10

Eh. It was ai'ight. I kept expecting the tempo to pick up but it never did. Its pleasant but I'm a neanderthal and don't listen to much pleasant music.

Really awesome sound right there. I liked that two merabers could still managed to make a song sound so loud and complete. The Wolf Parade style vocals are also a very nice plus.

I can't find the original Rosa version which I like a lot more, but this one will do just fine.

Thanks :). Glad you liked it.
Now I really feel the urge to be positive about yours, but that's pretty tough since I somehow can't stand female vocals in music and I kind of dislike synthesizer effects in metal... So this is a tough one for me.
The Melody is pretty ingenious and the band plays really tight.
These are definately quality musicians, but it's just not my kind of music.

So despite of your very nice review, I'll have to give this 6/10.

I absolutely love Best Coast, Crazy For You was my album of the summer for sure. I love the retro feel it has, while also staying modern with the lo-fi production and distortion. One of my favorite songs of 2010 10/10

Oh, I actually really liked this! It reminRAB me a great deal of Arrah and the Ferns, vocally and musically, although definitely not covering the goofy subject matter. The lyrics are pretty great as well. Very nice, for sure. 9.5/10.0

It was pretty badass! The instrumentals were the best, starts really repetitive and then they get really interesting and intense. I'm not a big fan of the vocals, but they definitely added alot to the song. Thank you.

Wow, not my thing at all. I just can't enjoy this sort of music, I hate the vocals and the guitarwork. I don't think it's my dog's thing either, he walked off as soon as the song started. 4/10

I guess some parts of the thing were cool, but I didn't even bother to listen to the whole thing. 5/10
