I have a 1 minute MIDI that I need to convert into a WAV file. The quality does not need to be good and the conversion needs to be done soon, so I would like to do it using Windows Sound Recorder. I believe it is done via the sound card in the computer. This is in Windows XP.

I remember being able to do this sometime around last year, but cannot find the site that gave me the specific directions on how to do it.

Under the sound recorder properties I can choose to record off the sound card (no mic), and under volume for recording device I can choose to select:
A) CD/Video In
B) Line In
C) Microphone

Under my Volume control I can mute the following:
A) Wave
B) SW Synth
C) CD/Video In
D) Line In

I have to establish these settings to recorded the MIDI. What do I choose?

Obviously, when the correct settings are selected I hit record and play the MIDI, and then save the newly recorded WAV File.
