I feel honourbound to stand and defend Nickelback. Whether you class them as rock or not, they're still great and Chad is a lovely guy.

Anyway, I don't get your question. 'Diversity Studies' mean young people from middle-class backgrounds no longer like rock music? What's that supposed to mean?

destruction of white popular culture? while they do their "Diversity Studies" and other nonsense?
I refer of course to the Nickelback videos
as someone rightly said; few would dare attack rap music as it is such a money-spinner.

No, just another bunch of spoilt over indulged brats trying to pretend they're in with the current vogue for knocking the good things in life.

Anyway, there's a classic rock revival on at present.

I think you're from England but over here in the ole US we have tons of politicians and religious leaders who routinely get up in arms about the lyrics to rap songs. Generally these attacks only generate publicity for the song/album leading more people to buy it.

Insert "Stop Making Sense" into the dvd player next time...

They won't know what hit them :)
