Metallica Sucks

It sucks because it's mainstream?

Thats the kind of crap i hear from Indie KiRAB when they try to convince me that TV On The Radio are better than Led Zeppelin.

Dude, are you kidding? I find Hammett to be a bit average. But Hetfield is a pretty good rhythm guitarist - and superior to Hammett.

But Dave Mustaine and Jon Schaffer (Iced Earth) are better than both of them :).

 Megadeth are brilliant.

lol. I love Tallica too though. Why is Kill Em All such an under-rated album ? It's amazing, probably their best in my opinion.

its not offten that once big banRAB always stay on top.. this band fell apart and still came out stronge.. no there not as great, and what crowqill said made loaRAB of sense.. but like with most banRAB after a while they just lose there touch or change there direction a little bit and fans in stead of looking at it that way, they just think they went from great awesomeness to crap.

According to Lar's Ulrich the new 'tallica album is going to be like their old stuff. But then again I remeraber Blender and others saying the St. Anger was like Kill 'em All and ...And Justice for All, and they had claimed themselves it was like their old stuff, when it couldn't have been further from it. Maybe they just say that so that fans of the old stuff will go buy the album the first day and get their hopes up.

I don't really like the Black Album. Some awesome music on there, particularly Kirk's solo in the Unforgiven, but I don't like any of the songs on an overall level, to me they come across as just bland. And I didn't realise it was underated eather. Over here it's the only album anyone seems to know, apart from St. Anger. I fully endorse And Justice For All though, now thats a great album.

Why the hell can't people leave 'tallica alone? Load sucked, and St. Anger really sucked, but at least they are trying something new, even if it is horrible. I think if a band like Metallica can have 2 crappy albums because they tried something new and strayed from the same old same old, then they deserve more respect than a band who releases 10 "good" albums with the same formula over and over again.
