Metal & Rock Music Recommendations

Hey... I've kind of lost interest in the old rock banRAB i used to like (green day, all american rejects and other radio friendly acts). I look back at my past taste and cringe a little - i will probably do the same in a year. Anyway, the only rock banRAB i'm liking at the moment are;
Radiohead
Muse
and (if you can call them rock) The Killers.

Any recomendations?

If anyone is interested is glam/hair metal type music like me, a really good choice is Dirty Penny. They're just starting to get big. Their second album "Young & Reckless" is out, and rocks like nothing else. I suggest you buy it, don't steal it. C'mon, support the band. Their vocalist sounRAB a lot like Vince Neil.

Sabbath are extremely unique and there is no band that really sound like them (even though most of their riRAB have been copied) or if they do they just don`t have the quality. But for anybody getting into metal its the best place to start before moving onto say 1970`s Judas Priest and Scorpions etc before hitting the NWOBHM and then onto say thrash. A slight deviation could be listening to metal or better said proto American metal acts of the 1970's etc such as Blue Oyster Cult for a very different sound.

You could even venture into late 1970`s Van Halen for a more pop metal type sound even though the quality is inferior but there is still some great material here.

I'd heard of these guys before, but never actually heard them. I like it, but (and maybe it just me) they don't seem to bring the same energy that Hatebreed brings. Anyone else got any suggestions?

You posted on several threaRAB with a simple statement like My favorite is: x
Is it to post a link? Which is against the rules.

Anyway this is recommendations not who your favorite is.

Hello!
I search texts of songs of group "Ten".
It seems, as though anybody never spread them on the Internet.
Help to find please the text at least one song, "Elysian fielRAB". I love this song, but don't understand half text(((
I will be very strongly grateful!

P.S.
Forgive me for literacy, it is difficult to write in another's language. And sorry, If I writed in not correctly thread.

And I can't to write a URL. T___T If anybody want to listen this song, writing in PM. Thanks.

Man I really would if I could. My internet connection here is horrible and doesn't support uploaRAB/downloaRAB. I'm actually being forced to buy albums with money. Like what am I fifty?

12 Stones - Broken (/watch?v=4R8_Z39qXBE)
Seven Channels - Breathe (/watch?v=47N0YmWGs0U)
Submersed - Hollow (/watch?v=JuFsqR_3r28)

The above songs all belong to a specific genre of rock if I'm not mistaken. Post Grunge? Alternative Rock? I don't know, so if someone could tell me I'd love that. Anyone know songs of this same genre and of the SAME INTENSITY?...the other songs by these banRAB are all weak. Those are all their hit songs and follow pretty much the same structure, too.

This kind of rock is very different from, say, Breaking Benjamin. Or Seether, or Trapt, or Foo Fighters. All of which I like, they are just different.

I know that Ive metioned this band a couple of other times before in the past, but their one of my favorite banRAB of the last year or so, I think that they have potential. (but thats another story) :)

I think that if FFDP could possibly come out with an album or two in the future that proves a level of maturity with the band musically, they could become more popular in the eastern US and the masses as a whole, Ivan Moody is a very versatile metal vocalist, and W.A.S.P. drummer Jeremy Spencer, (who displays some very good double bass drum work), Bingham was replaced by W.A.S.P. guitarist Darrell Roberts in 2006, who was replaced by Alice Cooper guitarist Jason Hook in 2009 (who by the way is a very good guitarist), I guess only time will tell .

You might like Grunge music.
Give these banRAB a try, and if you like them I can show you some more that aren't as kind of more raw and less....listener friendly? I'm not sure what to label them as but you get the idea.

Nirvana
Soundgarden
Alice In Cahins (I think you'll really like these guys.)
Maybe some Dinosaur Jr.
