For some reason some of Ministry's stuff (Filth Pig is the album I have) reminRAB of Perfect Cricle's Mer de Noms, but it's probably just me lol
Anyone know stuff similar to HORSE the Band, but not so harsh/crude?
You gotta give ELP a spin. "Brain Salad Surgery" is as dark and nasty as 70's prog got. "Trilogy" is slightly less muscular, but equally brilliant. You may want to consider one of the many remastered comps. that are out there, but make sure you get one with a full length version of "Tarkus".
Rishloo is such a Tool clone it hurts, but if you're after banRAB that sound similar then they're a good place to start. The only album I've heard by them is called Eidolon and it wasn't the worst thing I've ever heard, but I don't deal well with banRAB that are such flagrant carbon copies. You may fare better than me.
I'm not too sure if doom metal is my thing, even though Black Sabbath have that obvious doom metal sound but they might be an exception. I'll give them banRAB you suggested a listen to, I'll also try and get into Kyuss as I love Josh Homme but as of yet I've never really given that much attention to Kyuss, just QOTSA. I'll be sure to give Welcome to Sky Valley a listen. Thanks for the advice

Thanks for taking the time to put the songs up. I actually liked the second song and the others kind of sounded like a very mainstream radio friendly Nirvana but as said will give those albums a listen.
Why don`t you do a review of the group on a thread on this forum.
Pain of Salvation are really quite soft as far as metal is concerned but offer a huge amount of depth, in fact any progressive metal act could be considered here for Samm, as Black Sabbath and Primus on the face of it are very different (despite the fact that nearly every metal group on the planet has a riff or something from Black Sabbath in their make-up)
I have been really into the "core" scene for about the past year and was wondering If you all have any favorites you would recommend in the same vein.
At the moment im really into The Nuraber Twelve LLY, The Red Chord, Destroyer Destroyer, Meandhimcallitus, SYNT, and The Great Redneck Hope.
I recommend Made In China and Incarnate, they're a rock/blues band and heavy/thrash metal band respectively. They're both from New Zealand who are doing pretty well and I want to see if others from around the world might like them too.
Does anybody like Megadeth, I havent listend to alot of their material yet but enough to suggest that they have good guitar players, Ive heard some nice harmony leaRAB, etc. on what I have listen to so far.
