Well, for now maybe my question will sound stupid little bit... But ok, I will try...
It's question of one my czech friend who is fan of Linkin Park and Paradise Lost. And I try to find some answers for her.

Do you know some banRAB similar to Linkin Park? Or do you know some catchy metal which could be nice for fans of Linkin Park? I mean nothing progressive or complicated.
Thanks for some reply.

I would start with "The Gallery" one of the essential early melodic death metal recorRAB and then its follow up album "The MinRAB I" then listen to "Damage Done" probably my favourite Dark Tranquillity album. If you like these then listen to the rest of the stuff. The only album I don`t like is "Projector" as singer Mikael Stanne changed his vocal style to a more operatic baritone style and it sucks.

I think Kreator`s "Extreme Agression" and especially "Coma of Souls" are two fantastic thrash albums.

Strangely nobody has mentioned the Scorpions, I know the stuff post "Love at First Sting" is mostly commercial and formula rubbish for the most part, but albums like "Lovedrive" "Blackout" and "Love at First Sting" I think are pretty essential to most hard rock/heavy metal collections. I think Klaus Meine`s voice is pretty special and certainly one of my favourite vocalists in the genre.

For the first part try Radiohead and maybe Modest Mouse (hey, I said MAYBE). For the second, I guess Boston, Foreigner, Quiet Riot, Asia, Journey, Van Halen, etc.

I'm looking for arabient/trance psychedelic music. I've already listened to Shpongle quiet a bit and am wondering if there are any other psybient groups out there that are worth listening to.
