what 12 subwoofer is better in your opinion and why

Jon, first the L7 and the L5 are known for mechanical issues, and JL is just way over priced for anything.
so_fresh, get a clue, you know nothing about speakers. Just because your boyfriend is always messing with them does not mean you know anything about them.
I on the other hand have had many audio systems in my vehicles, I installed every single one of them. I have been into this since I was a teenager, I am now 36. You tell me.
Since the L7 and L5 are notorious for their mechanical issues, your best bet would be the MOJO. Not too mention it sounds much better than anything Kicker could ever hope to make. Many people doubt the MOJO, I was one of those people until I heard 1 first hand. It was in a Scion XB and was making the hatch flex, not the window, but the entire hatch.
The last thing I have to say is this, my Orion HCCA 12.2 sounds better and hits much harder than the W7 either the 12 or 13, take your pick. I am giving my HCCA 3200 watts rms, and is rated for 2000. JL who? Kicker, not even on the radar.

L7 ALL THE WAY! or JL Audio W7 either way beats memphis mojo

both are good but the memphis will probably hit harder than the kicker and wattage on it is higher, i couldn't find the rms ratings though so i can't say for sure

My opinion the mojo will be better because they get more louder and they still have good quality when they get loud, the l7 pretty good subwoofer they get pretty loud too but not as the mojo. I will say if you just want enough bass to be little loud then get l7 and they good with sq, but if you want to get really loud get the mojo and you probably be more happy with it and mojo known for spl and can still be used for sq.
