I'm with the OP, I adore it. I've watched it several times, and it actually took me 2 or 3 times to work out exactly what was going on. Maybe I'm thick, or maybe I enjoy it because I do not always take films at face value.
I find it hard to see how anyone can take in every little clue in one watching of the film, you'd have to have an almost supernatural memory to do that surely? But looking at some of the other posts in this thread I guess it's just me being slow
I had a hard time working out if Teddy was a good guy or a bad guy, if he is really Leonard's friend or not. I did get a bit confused, but I persevered and watched it again just to make sure I hadn't missed anything. I wrote down the plot so that I could re-sequence it and be sure. I got a bit obsessed

(but I really like Guy Pearce

). Obviously I've worked it all out now, backwarRAB and forwarRAB, but I'd still watch it again if only for the atmosphere and pathos of the film.
The concept of the film is excellent,, the way it is done is unique, the storyline intriguing, Guy Pearce's acting brings a lump to my throat, as does the music. It's one of the highest scoring films I've found of the ones I like on imdb (most of the films I like seem to be rated at least 7.8 so I reckon I have pretty normal taste amongst film lovers).
I love, love love the film. Carrie Anne Moss and Joe Pantaliano are also brilliant co-stars. I love Carrie Anne Moss in this so much more than in the Matrix. I love the Matrix too, but she demonstrates her acting talent so much more in Memento.
Also, Pearce is very attractive
