McCain doesn't have the experience either... and if you read my post, I'm not STICKING UP FOR MCCAIN, but the man does have more experience in congress and has been around a lot longer. Either way we go, this country is fucked for the next 4 years.
and Obama is the king of the economy. The person who hasn't done shit for leading anything. Not that McCain is the best GOP candidate... I just don't think Obama is worth a shit. Sorry.
I'm voting for McCain so I don't have to vote for Obama.
...and that's not a bad thing either. It pretty much challenges the way we think about things and how to go about solving problems never discused to a grand extent before.
''I don't like obscene profits being made anywhere. I'd be glad to look not just at the windfall profits tax, that's not what bothers me, but we should look at any incentives that we are giving to people -- or industries or corporations -- that are distorting the markets.''
I could see solar eventually being more cost effective way of producing power than coal or nautural gas. But it wont happen as long as any of us are alive
10% of the world's energy supply spent on over priced, inefficient crap is a small price to pay to keep the huge uneducated "environmentalist" segments appeased. Politicians know what their doing. I'd throw up a bunch of windmills too if it got those ignorant fucks off my back and let me pursue real solutions.
And solar actually is 100% efficient. Is it 100% doable right now? No. Not at all, and I won't argue its case in its present condition. But it is efficient as in it requires the least amount of energy output to get energy input. Meaning little energy lost but energy gained.
I also would like to mention I'm fine with nuclear energy with the right safety precautions and a logical waste management system.
