Married, Single, Other

Parts of this really irritated me, particularly Babs doing the money speech reading the bils, it just looked like she was acting, and she is my favourite character in this.

It did make me laugh out loud a few times as well, although I thought that the husband's outburst was completely out of character to what we had been shown so far.

Will still watch it next week.

Did anyone else noticed that the boy who played the eldest son in married, single, other was in When Romeo met Juliet (group of school kiRAB put on the play)? Would he have been in it before he got the part in married, single, other or afterwarRAB? He only had a small role ("biting his thumb" in the market scene at the beginning and other bits here and there) so it's funny he had a fairly big part in an itv drama series!

I am by no means Ralf Little's biggest fan. But I think you miss the point of his character. Nobody has ever said he is meant to be really good looking. Its more the his attitude that is meant to attract the women I assume.

Think; a straight Stuart Alan Jones from Queer As Folk. He wasn't massivly good looking. But he go laid, a lot.

Oh dear - how bad is this...

Writer trying to be too clever with the dialogue and the actors aren't good enough to handle it and carry it off.

Doesn't deserve to be shown again!

I had mixed feeling about the series to begin with, but grew to like it. It remained a bit of a "curate's egg" of a programme. There were some marvelous and heart rending moments, anyone who has suffered bereavement couldn't fail to be moved by Eddie..a superb performance from Shaun Dooley.
It was a pity the writer couldn't have handled the comedy with a defter touch. I know suspension of belief is practically essential in comedy, but I do think the writer pushed that license a little too far on occasion.
Still, I didn't come on to denigrate, overall I found the series enjoyable and would be happy to see a follow-up..if that is possible.

I cried!!!

bit far fetched I thought though - when the blonde shop assistant just threw herself at him - can't believe this sort of thing happens in real life!? He didn't even have to buy her dinner or a drink - before the motor home was 'a rockin!'
:o

That was easily the best episode of the series.

I honestly didn't think they'd kill her off tonight, and was half expecting her not to die at all, so I was quite surprised.

Has this definitely been axed? No reprieve?

I'm surprised. It was a decent series and should be given a chance. No doubt it was axed to pay Simon Cowell.

Am enjoying this show. Such a shame it lost so many viewers.

It does annoy me when people moan ITV don't do enough non crime drama. When they do non crime dramas, people don't watch them, even when they are good dramas like this is.
