Yes, that is exactly how it works. Well done, you have figured out life. You can kill yourself now.

are you stupid?

if he made 80k while he was flying, he would get 40k when he retires, then the teaching job makes up the other 35k.

sounds about right if you ask me.

troll troll troll your boat.

He hasn't been paying the fee since he started. Why starT?

How do we know hes a good teacher? Just because he was in the marines means hes a great teacher?

He took the job knowing there are union fees. He will not find a teaching job elsewhere making $75. Theres really no debate here

Have a good day sir

I thought unions were optional? How can a state pass a law requiring someone to join a union?

uh did you read the article

he's been there for a long time, this is the first instance of them demanding money

nope, maybe the school will be better off doesn't change the fact that they're bullying him for $500 that they've never bothered him about before and he has no real need to pay it

the failure of our public school system is at work here in this very thread

congratulations

The law is on the unions side. The teacher has to make a life a choice. Pay dues or do something else with his free time. Sounds like hes hell bent on not paying the dues. Maybe hell get a book deal, like Joe the Plumber

Thats why he is no longer wanted to be apart of the team. He has every right not to pay them. I hope he does well for himself in his next job.

I love teachers. When they strike, it's about "the children," and now you're bitching because this guy has principles and takes a stand. Go you.

Reading > you

Anyone who wants to watch a faggot spout the union party line bullshit, just look at Ghost of Swayze's posts, and you'll have them all.
