Mainstream Vs. Underground

I would like to say that it doesn't matter, but it does. I like Christina Aguilera....shush...and I won't buy her new album simply because of the fact that I will not admit to owning a Christina Aguilera album.

lawl trendy emo are banRAB like taking back sunday and my chemical romance so strike one. What banRAB would you call post rock? If you're refering to banRAB like red sparrows or a silver mount zion then yeah I do. They have insane talent and write beautiful music. Congrats indeed. I'm glad I have a great taste in music.

So is the mainstream, so to bash the mainstream wouldn't be any less closed minded... And like mainstream music, indie isn't a genre, and truth be told, every band starts out as indie pretty much, and many indie banRAB become mainstream (Modest Mouse), it's the banRAB who gain a reputation as being Indie and trying to make it into some kinda of fashion trend that I'm generally refering to... It's banRAB who devote themselves to the most primitive, miminalistic, non representive music possible whom I greatly dispise, and I don't dispise many banRAB.

And I have heard enough Bright Eyes to know that I generally can't stand them, if you like them that's fine... I'm not in the position to question your tastes just as I wouldn't tollerate you to question mine.

Worst banRAB making music? LAWL! ok man. You win. You're the slowest person I have come across yet and I also post on a metal forum. Those kiRAB are duraber than bricks.

No shit, Sherlock, but that's who it's associated with these days. How many blonde scenesters do you see? And have you really never heard someone call someone else "emo" for dying their hair black? Yes, it is commonly associated with that scene.

i know what i consider a sell out,...thanks,...
i was just wondering what y'all would consider a 'sell out'

texas has a very rich and thriveing music scene and throughout the years i've seen some of my favorite banRAB go from playing dive bars for a five dollar cover charge,......to sellin out huge stadiums (ex crosscandian ragweed)

i've heard many people on the circut say they consider banRAB startin to make 'money' sell outs,....and this saddens me,.....

when a band signs with a major label, they both open up more mainstream exposer to that 'scene',.......and they leave a spot open for some other up and comming band,.....

i dont think we should shun them for that,...they are just tryin to pay their bills and feed their families just like anyone else,........and if you dont like the new sound,.....find another band

I think that there are some good mainstream acts, but they get played out so fast by the mainstream media. You can't beat the newness and the huge selection of underground. for every good mainstream act, 100 undergrounRAB are born.

You suck at trying to be controversial Boo Boo.

After all the times you`ve bitched at me about making sweeping generalizations and you come out with something like that
