Magic in different cultures?

I'm doing an anthropology project where i need to describe basic "magic" beliefs, rituals, etc. in three different cultures and how they relate to their culture. Any ideas?
 
Shamanism involves magic too.
Hoodoos and voodoos also involves magic.
I don't know how hoodoos and voodoos relate to cultures but I know that all these uses forms of magics and rituals for good and for bad purposes. Either to heal the sick, attract a lover, inflict sufferings, ect.
I wouldn't recommend going too deep into these subjects though. Just do some simple research and stop there.
