Mad Men.

Just read today about the BBC's proposed cuts that are planned. 'Mad Men' is one of the US imports that they are intending axing! So for the next series one is going to have to scrabble around to find a way of viewing it, unless another channel suddenly picks up a Series 4. It''ll be a long wait for the DVD otherwise.

It was only a "quick fling at the office party". They both appeared pretty willing at the time! The only problem was that she obviously had different expectations than Don did for afterwarRAB. It was apparent from the way he avoided her the next morning, that he regretted it, too. The atmosphere when he gave her the christmas bonus was well done, I was half expecting her to refuse it considering the implications. (Lucky he'd mentioned it before the party ;))

No, it was the industrial psychologist that Bert had brought in (who's personal questionnaire Don ducked). She did seem to be looking his way a lot at the party - I wouldn't be surprised if she made Don into a "mission"

There is no plan at all. The owner of the show is Lions Gate, and they have refused to give the show's creator and producer Matt Weiner an "end date" that he can work toward, despite his requesting one. Like nearly all American shows, the series will continue till it is clear every last penny has been squeezed out of it.

With all due respect, I don't think that's quite fair. There is legitimate room for those who simply prefer a faster pace of storytelling. It doesn't make you a Neanderthal if that's your taste. Even though I am a fan of the show, I think people are entitled to dislike the show without being called thick.

It's obvious that McLean's fundamental problem with Mad Men is that it's not The Wire. Apparently, he's still grieving over the end of that show.

Sally excelled herself this week, I was in real tears.

I so wanted Don to do more than peek through her bedroom door.

snowmountain, this is one reason I watch it on iPlayer, so I can rewind - often I don't catch muttered pieces of dialogue and in Mad Men, every word has significance.

Yes, I thought that was a great bit too.

As that scene began I knew that any moment Betty was going to see him be shot, and she reacted just as I imagine I would if I'd seen it 'live'.

Noooooooooooooooo the swine!

I'm gutted, it's the ONLY TV programme I bother to watch (I catch it on iPlayer because the time is inconvenient - I bet their viewing figures would be higher if it was on at a better time).

Betty looked amazing in the black dress and updo hairstyle in Rome! Even that maxi dress she was wearing at home was chic. She might cheat on Don. Pete caught out haha!

Did anyone catch what Joan said when she pointed out to Roger he had some of his drink on his lip?

She made this gesture around her mouth and said something.... but I couldn't quite make it out :)
