Yep. And it's WDSU...trust me, they have a fucking playbook on this shit.

They're pushy with smaller-time local shit, but with big companies they are quick to roll over and take it...then cry about it later.

The reporter should have marched over to the workers, gotten assaulted by the security goon, and owned BP in court.

douche gets way more mileage out of making bp look bad by not getting to talk to workers than he would by talking ot the workers... the fuck are they gonna tell him anyway... "yeah bro, there's a fuckload of fucking oil, and this work SUCKS"

That reporter should not get in the way of the clean up effort and respect BPs authority.

But the little bitch of a reporter didn't do what he ought to and walked past the guy and interviewed the workers. Instead he was a pussy.

"Who hired you?"
"That's not important."
"Then you have no basis of authority" *walk past guard*

what about the coast guard being the enforcment arm of BP

oh and the reporter was a pussy, he shoulda marched right up there on a public beach instead of dickign around

He didn't mean the USCG was enforcing BP policy, he meant that they were a law enforcement agency that could, under certain circumstances, lawfully restrict his access to the beach.

And the point obviously was not to speak with the worker, the point was to show the BP still has security details preventing access to the workers.
