Little Miss Sunshine Appreciation

I'm seeing with my friend again, even though we just saw it two days ago. :lol: Its such a great movie.
 
LOVED IT!! When does the DVD come out? I will be the first to buy :) And yes Dwayne was my favorite too.

It was AMAZING!!!!!! :love: The acting was teriffic!!!!!!!!!! It was funny and heartfelt.

Abigail is a doll. I thought she did a wonderful job. She made me laugh and cry.

The surprise stand out for me was Paul Dano as Dwayne. Wow!!!! :love: :sigh: I thought he was amazing...............especially in that one really huge scene.

Steve was of course great. I didn't think of Michael (office) at all either.

Toni Collette - In the past couple of years I've realized just how much I like her and how talented she is. I loved her in In Her Shoes with Cameron Diaz. And she was superb in Night Listener which I just recently saw. She was teriffic in this as well.

Loved seeing Greg Kinnear in this as well.

The movie was so funny...........I was literally in tears I was laughing so hard in some scenes. Other scenes brought me to tears. Some of them both at the same time!!
 
I wanted to see it again today with my friend, but she wouldn't go cause it's rated R :rolleyes:
 
This is definitely one of my favorites. It's a great, quirky little movie. I loved the family dynamics. I especially loved Alan Arkin as the grandfather. He was hilarious! :D

I'd love to see Steve in another kinda serious role like this character. I was blown away with how well he did with the subtle comedy.

I love when Olive asks her grandpa if she's pretty. I was like "awwww, you're the prettiest girl, sweetie!" :blush: Abigail totally won me over, she's so talented and so adorable. She was by far the prettiest girl in the pageant :love:
 
I saw LMS for the fourth time today :) This movie just gets better and better every time I go to see it. I can't wait for the DVD!

Congrats to the movie wining a SAG..I saw it in theaters and fell in love.
 
:lol: :hug: Nope, it wasn't suicide- after putting Olive to sleep he goes into the bedroom to get his "fix" and the next scene is Olive at her parents' bed saying "grandpa isn't waking up" or something to that effect.

i love little miss sunshine. it's the cutest movie ever. i was so nervous watching it cause something always goes wrong!
 
Awesome...I saw it in the movies once and now I own it. I can't wait to watch the hell out of it. :D
