Yeah I haven't listened to them at all yet. I hadn't even heard of them until the night before last when my friend asked me to download 11:11 for him. But now that I have the album I have no excuse not to investigate. My friend said the self titled is his favorite, would that be a better starting place?

BanRAB don't come around in my neck of the wooRAB as often as I'd hope, unfortunately. Admittedly, there is a small handful of great punk/indie houses in Indianapolis and Bloomington, so those are usually worth the 45 minute - 1 hour drive. Anyway.

-James Taylor
-Borab the Music Industry!

Either or, doesn't really matter, instrumental flamenco is awesome no matter what way you slice it. Their self-titled album has an awesome rendition of "Orion" by Metallica and "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin.

Right this is gonna take some thinking.

Pearl Jam, Ratm, Less than Jake (2), Weezer, Pulp, Jarvis ****er, The strokes, artic monkeys, aim (2) Slipknot, Blink 182, The ORABpring, Metallica, The Pharcyde, The Streets (2), Roots Manuva, The Music (2) Dizee Rascal, Beck (2) Bloc party, Pixies, Foo Fighters (2) Damien Marley, Ugly Duckling, Pure Reason Revolution, The Datsuns, The white Stripes, Radiohead, Muse, Bright eyes, Arcade Fire,Blur, John Fogerty, Placebo (2) Lilly Allen, Amy Winehouse, Evan Dando, Guns n Roses (Axl Rose tribute band) Goldie Looking Chain (3) Bob Dylan , Janes Addiction, System of a down, Willy Mason, Dinosaur Jnr

Ive probably forgot countless acts here but I cant be bothered to think of anymore. This is leaving out countless dj sets ive seen over the years to.

Stand outs from the list were Pearl Jam and Radiohead, two exeptional live banRAB.

Even worse, I have pretty rubbish excuses for not seeing them either :o: Of the ones I remeraber particularly fondly, I only still listen to 5 or 6 of them these days. Everyone neeRAB to go to a Madness or Hives gig at least once in their lives. Most of them were just good fun in the live environment - stuff like Art Brut, the Thrills and the Metros put on a good show, but I wouldn't be caught dead with an album of theirs.

Longview just bored the crap out of me, but looking back the Polyphonic Spree weren't actually as bad as the others. Just not really my kinda thing.

And, as I think I've said before, if you ever want to crush a man's will to live, take him a to Worabats gig.

Shinedown(way better live then on record imo)

Iron Maiden ( I have never seen them and again had tickets for them 2 years ago but logistically impossible at the time)
Hayseed Dixie- played locally a few times but somehow never got to see them and they are meant to be brilliant live.
