Republican Balanced Budget Amendment being pushed by GOP (all 47 senate republicans, including libertarian Rand Paul)
1) Raising taxes requires near impossible super-majorities, while spending cuts require simple majorities
2) Spending MUST match taxes or its unconstitutional
3) Is COMPLETELY in effect in its second year
Does that make the Ryan budget unconstitutional according to the GOP? Yes
It's a 44% spending cut in 2 years, that's extreme
The libertarian plan improves on it by removing income taxes, that ups it from a 44% cut to a 95% cut
It's pretty hard to argue against the text itself of the GOP and Rand Paul
