Ron Paul and Rand Paul go crazy about passing a BBA amendment IMMEDIATELY, as in today

the LP/tea party BBA would result in a 44%-95% cut in federal spending depending on whether the income tax was legislatively removed

There is NOTHING I have heard any large libertarian group say about a long-term income repeal, but rather as they state, a simple repeal

And the libertarian platform makes it clear NO OTHER TAXES will be raised to cover any spending or lost revenue

Which, would require a 95% spending cut over a year, and considering their desire to not end SS immediately, they'd have to shut down every other part of the federal government, including the federal courts and disband the US army permanently
