I don't know him too well, he's a jock kinda, but one of the nicest i've ever met. We're not even that close. He says hi to me in the hallway when he sees me but he's kinda the type that goes out on a friday night with his mates at a club getting pissed. I'm the type who shudders at the thought of doing that.

He turns sixteen in a month I think and my 16th was last week. We take a lot of the same subjects and he's in a lot of my classes. Sometimes we talk a bit in class but after a few minutes he'll get distracted by one of his mates and forget about me. I know he's probably just being sociable but I seriously have it bad for him.

Also it sucks because only one of my friends knows i'm bi and I don't really wanna have to tell anyone else yet. The only sign I have that he does swing that way was that on his myspace before he deleted it, he had put his orientation as 'not sure'.

Should I try to forget about him or what?

You should just ask him out i think he likes you. there's this guy i like too. i really like him and i think he has a crush on me i'm just too shy to ask him out but if you can do it iprobablyy can and get out of my shell for once.

if he is that nice, he ma be able to keep your secret. talk to him about it but don't be pushy. you could ask him what he meant by his "not sure" status but reveal your secret first or he will get nervous.

You need to become friendly with him and make it happen.Maybe he wants you to do something with him alone but is also afraid to tell you. He may be the same way you are. the way to find out is to say, Hey we should have dinner some time and compare notes on this. He will go with you but only if he can hide from his mates. So keep that in mind he is closeted and trying to hide , he is getting your vibe regarding the attraction. Are you ready for a secret relationship with him? Because he is only ready for that type of relationship right now.

keep talking to him! Become friends first, that's the best step to having a chance at being more than friends.

I love your name!! <3

It's a little dangerous to talk to him as he might be offended or he might tell it and before you know it it's all over the school... You might hint it in some way though... But I can't really think of a way... I'm really sorry about telling you things you shouldn't do rather than what you wanna hear but it's the best advice I can give you

It is possible that your crush is gay. On the other hand, you also mentioned that you hold different interests and are not close. If you "shudder" at the thought of getting "pissed", he may not be right for you regardless of his orientation. Obviously, you are physically attracted to him. That alone, however, is not enough for any kind of relationship, with him or anyone else. Attraction is a good place to start, but you also need to ask yourself other questions about your compatibility: do you have mutual interests? Are you an introvert or extrovert? How do you like to relax? What is your idea of a perfect date? A great weekend? Hobbies? Asking yourself these kinds of questions will not only help you decide if this particular guy is a possibility for you, it will also help you formulate your own priorities.

I'm sure you have heard this before, but at 16 you have a long dating life ahead of you. It sucks that while your straight peers are able to openly express their attractions for the opposite sex, you are naturally cautious. That is inherently unfair at an age when your hormones are raging and you should be able to date like your other classmates. You have my sympathy.

Dating, regardless of your orientation, is a risky business. At the very least, you risk a broken heart. Good luck, young friend.

ask him about the myspace thing
if that doesn't lead to anything, drop the whole subject.
