Let's Educate: Mixes + Money = Misery...?

My observations of this forum prove that there are still so many animal lovers that simply have not done any research on the amount of animals that are killed every year in shelters. Most of you are prolific writers. Let's pull up the hard facts for the people that we have been so upset with.

In my Yorkie Rescue League alone, we have placed over 1500 neglected, abused, starved, ill, traumatized, young, old and in-between. Every day a shelter calls us to take one, or someone callously says : "I just don't want him anymore, can you take him so I can get a "pom/poo/dorkie/blah/blah". At least those people call to try to re-home. The unlucky ones get thrown out like trash or worse. Check your facts online. MILLIONS of healthy, simply unwanted dogs are killed each year, every year. That is one reason we are against more mixed breeding.
So, maybe the other members will pull up some facts that they want to share. Possibly this will sway some of you to re-think where your next dog comes from. Thank you, Angel Wolf 13
OK....I see that it is ok to spew your beliefs, but not ok to educate those that keep asking "what is the problem with mixes"....I thought that this would be interesting...thank you for those who support the real victoms PS: I can't believe the mean folks...Thanks Dave and Geramy 4 support!

You know I am not too in the know just yet and you know how I feel. You have been so MUCH help to me and have a little namesake here to prove it. All I can say to you is if this question gets pulled, well, I have heard a little about that in the past few days and I know there are some good people working to stop the cliques on the board. And there are bum kissing cliques that do not even read questions and have one brain between 'em. I know I had my daughter contact YA for me as I got some disturbing email from some of the lemins with the one brain cell on this board. What I have learned from you in the past few days is that you are very smart and thoughtful and I have learned to stand up for what I believe. So I am going to play devil's advocate and say should your question or any answer you like get pulled, there is a process to go further than the appeal to YA. I have the guidelines. It is time to stop these people who think they have the right to pull anyone's question they disagree with. I came here for help as you know and you know what happened to me. This is a good question that should provoke thought (my daughter is here and helped with that...LOL) So... I hope this question does lead to a rethinking by those well meaning people who could really7 help people if they started exercising their brain. I saw one question where one in the clique actually said to do what amounts to abuse of a dog, and all the clique quickly jumped on board even though they had been giv ing other answers before. I thought the board was to help, not to judge. And I thought it was for everyone, not for those with like minds.
And what can I do to help? Well, maybe not a question but a point and some of those suckie kissies are already starting. And I love it when they say they have been insulted, report another user and then change their own answer by hitting the edit button so YA cannot see how they really answerd and the insult in it. What? My daughter told me YA can go back and see what was changed and I learned that was true. So good for you Angel13. Ya'll this one really cares. And not for ratings. She wants to really make a difference and she has. Get your brain cells working and stop wiorrying about misspelled words, all caps, and what your fellow lemins may think.
