Lee/Kara (Battlestar Galactica) #2: I Missed You

Ok, I've been giving this some thought, but even I have a 'waytoomuch' point when it comes to L/K business. I want BSG to go back to before the whole marriage issues started. Yes, angst is my drug, but it's getting a little too much. I just want casual frienRABhippy moments.

What am I saying!
 
I know. I had L/K up for a month and a half once. Then I decided I needed to breach out and give my other obessions time to shine ;)

Because he's only with Dee b/c Kara pushed him away

Because his father told him to "bring back our girl" and he said he would
Because his marriage to Dee is built on his obsession with another woman

Because you know the real reason she survived with Leoben was to be with him

It should've been like that... but I don't know, maybe they didn't want Lee to expect something like that until the very last second. I think the way it happened, it was a lot more painful to Lee, mostly because he couldn't obviously count on his father's support and because of the surprise. With Papa!Adama talking about Kara's marriage like any other event, it destroyed everything. I'm doing a lousy job explaining myself but I don't think it would have had the same effect in the scene. I mean, I was spoiled but for those who weren't, it pretty much had the same effect on them than on Lee (talking about the shippers, mostly :P ). It was like getting stabbed in the gut by someone (and when) you least expected.
 
I got rather mad at the non-challant look on his face. "Oh, yeah, so Kara got married.' It should have been ' Ok, son, this is going to hurt but...[insert insanley long pause] ...Kara got married.' [As he places a comfoting hand on Lee's shoulder]

:sigh: What a scene that would be :P
 
I really miss LK and I'm still really bitter about their end. I mean I didn't expect them to get a "happily ever after" but man that Kara/LK end sucked.

[sp] I read that Katee's nam has been removed from the credits, but I haven't heard of any interview that even gave hints to Katee leaving. Apparenlty she loves BSG.

So I think, they took her name off the credits, to give the effect that she left, but will come back. I mean, if she was leaving then you'd think they'd make a statement or someother. [/sp]

LOVE the caps :in_love: 'I missed you' was one of the best BSG lines in history.

Btw, have you seen Eye of Jupiter yet? Yeah baby!

[sp]For Dee, as a character/person, it'd be way better if she left Lee. It'd show she's got some pride, self-esteem and bit of a backbone left. But my reasons for wanting Lee to leave Dee have nothing to do with Dee and everything to do with Lee/Kara. I couldn't care less about how they write Dee, but I do care about L/K. Lee leaving Dee would be like admitting there's really no way his feelings for Kara could go away. That's what I want him to realize, not Dee.[/sp]

Me too! He loves Kara as a daughter himself, maybe he thought Lee loved Kara as a sister lol ? I don't know, but it was really weird.
