Lee/Kara (Battlestar Galactica) #2: I Missed You

Hi Ker :wave: ITA, he's hot :sigh: And Lee and Kara make such a nice couple :nod:

I haven't seen the whole episode yet, but the L/K scene in the raptor was def hot :hotpinkie: I'll be back with more comments as soon as I have watched the whole thing.
 
Aghhhh this show is gonna kill me. I wanted to know who were the Cylon models left SO much :lol:

I like Helo/Sharon, but I thought that scene where he "killed" her was pretty awesome. Very well acted.


I think the guy said the whole model, so that'd mean all of the 3... that's what I understood. Probably because they couldn't have Lucy Lawless anymore.

Nuraber Three is not the announced death, is she? GoRAB, I wish I were naive enough to believe it LOL

That was funny, but Dee usually is so passive aggressive that I have trouble liking her.


That's why I love Kara... she's not scared of other people's reactions. She holRAB her ground.

I love the contrast between Lee and Sam when they're on the battle field. Lee is all on military mode while Sam is just like any other random guy fighting for his life. If we didn't know Lee better, we'd all root for Sam because he seems more human in those moments but the beauty of it all is that Lee's military side is only a side and I LOVE that we get to see all of his sides on the show.


Yeah? Hmmm... while I loved that Lee hugged Dee mostly because she had saved Kara, I really think Kara loves Sam... and that's a pretty big obstacle if you ask me. I just want to see some old school K/L without the husband/wife lurking around. I miss it dearly.


I thought that Boomer wanting to break Hera's neck was VERY out of character. Maybe I'm just confused because of Sharon LOL

Would be nice if the Lee/Dee situation would be resolved soon, same goes for the Kara/Anders thingy. After all this not-talking stuff I want more Lee/Kara soonish :)

[sp]I'm pretty sure Kara is just going to be MIA for some episodes, the whole Starbuck storyline is waaaay to important for the show to kill her off IMO. It was made very clear right from the start that Starbuck has a destiny and I don't think it will be fulfilled already *shrug* So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that TPTB are just stringing us along - maybe someone completely different dies, like Dee *veg*[/sp]

Me too, I was shocked when he told Lee about her marrying Anders like it was most reasonable thing to do for her :rolleyes:

Would be nice to hear Adama's thoughts on her marriage later :nod:

So I have only seen bits and pieces of the show, but that guy is SO hot, I was flipping through channels and sturabled on them yesterday(at least I hope it was them, :lmao:) spoilers just in case [sp]they were making out and it was quite :hot_pinkie: [/sp]

Yes! And of course, I loved it. I really dig the way they simply can't keep their hanRAB off each other. I also loved Lee's outburst with Anders in the end.

It would have been much better! I am FINE with endings that open ended as long as they are somewhat optimistic.
 
Im just starting to get into this show, thanks to my indemand channel. I was bored one night and was on it and saw under freeprograms, battlestar on scifi. I watched the special "The story so far". I now am waiting for netflix to send me the miniseries and then season one s I can catch up. The first episode I have ever seen was episode 8 from this season. I have to say I have fallen for Lee and Kara. I loved there boxing match and the scenes in between.

Wow! A fast paced, on stop episode! Holy cow it was good!

My thoughts...

- I never reall liked Sharron, but now seeing her distinguish between Boomer and Athena, I like her more.
- I knew Athena was gonna have to die to see Hera. The scene where Helo shot her was interesting. Tho I ship them, my prefered Helo ship is with Racetrack... but that's another story...
- Now what's gonna happen to Helo? I missed his convo with Roslin and Adama...
- Love how Hera could tell the difference between the 2 models :sigh:
- So does that mean that 3 is no longer living? Did they pull the plug on her model? Or the that specific download?
- Love how Athena would a sister Cylon for her daughter. Touching scene.
- Baltar is *so* a Cylon! ... IMO
- Yes, I know it's a fictional storyline, but the whole Kara/painting/EOJ thing was kinda creepy. Really looking forward to her storyline.
- Who was the shocking meraber of the Final Five that 3 met!
- Love it when the star exploded. Great graphics!
- Love how Dee smacked Starbuck. Too funny :lol:
- I thnk Tigh neeRAB an artificial eye! The patch just aint doing it for me!
- Should have excersized more caution when Athena came back on board... I mean, they turn a guy on anyone who's rumoured to be a Cylon.
- LOVE!!!! how Caprica Six is on the Battlestar.I love how scared she was... we dont usually see a scared Cylon. Now I like here :lol: Made her look more human... like what they did with Athena
- Love how Cheif pistol whipped Baltar hahaha :lol:
- Wonder why the Eye was so intrgiging to him...
- The Kara/Dee scenes were actually enjoyable, along with the Lee/Anders ones. Spouse/Mystress interaction is always interesting.

"I love Sam, I hate Sam. I love Lee, I hate Lee...." Nice that she told Dee that :P

- Oh and Lee's line was beautiful! " She dies out there, I'll let you!" HA! Gorgeous!
- The reunion has to have been the best eva! That was beautiful!

I loved BSG as a whole, but they were definitely my favorite thing about BSG.


I think b/c their story was so heartbreaking that I wanted, not a happy ending for them b/c that wasn't the kind of ending that I saw them ever having, but a hopeful ending. If they had left Lee/Kara standing alone in that field together with the promise of some sort of future then I would've loved it. I love open endings that leave it up to the imagination of the viewer as to what happens next.

They were so obviously meant for each other that I hoped that in the end, when they could stop running and just be, that they would finally have their chance. They'll probably always be in my top 3 for OTP.
