Mean, pissed off Dave is so much fun! Can't wait to watch the full show tonight. Apparently, most of the monologue and all of the 'pre-guest' stuff is Dave completely laying into NBC and Jay. Plus a top 10 about it all as well.

I get the impression he really likes Conan and, as we all know, there's no love lost between him and Jay.

After the nasty little swipes that Jay was making at him during his so-called 'scandal', I don't blame Dave for going after him with both barrels!

ok
need to be careful here
Mininova no longer has torrents available of anything.
LB our usual source seems to have changed the format of its download, and is no longer watchable, so am reduced to watching Dave in ten minute blocks on You Tube.
Does anyone know why it has changed and how to get it in a watchable format?

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere about Letterman on CBS Reality other than that unofficial Freesat site, so I wouldn't worry for now and best to wait for an official announcement before we all get excited. :D

Has anyone watched the Paul S interview yet? I've only seen the clip I've put up at http://www.lateshowuk.com/shows/late-show/4517/paul-shaffers-interview-on-the-late-show but it does look like an hilarious interview. I'll be watching it over the weekend!

If you want to get a free autographed copy of Paul's new book go to www.paulshaffersdayinrock.com and look for the email details!

You can now buy the book at Amazon UK.

Live webcast of Tim McGraw on Monday night - http://www.cbs.com/late_night/late_show/show_info/pants_news.php - 2am UK time (I think!) on the cbs.com/lateshow website.

There was a segment and interview (with Variety magazine in LA) on BBCNews24 yesterday all about Leno.
Most of the details are already posted here, one thing though, they interviewed several Americans all of whom loved Jay, then I realised, in the background were the Jay Leno show studios. It was his audience!!!:o

It isn't first time Dave's hosted the show with a poorly throat. Remember a few months ago when
he swapped places with Tony Mendez, and let him do the jokes while Dave held the cue carRAB?

Mininova has had to comply with a legal ruling from the Court of Utrecht in the NetherlanRAB,
which means only torrents of authorised content are allowed to uploaded to their servers.
Mininova never actually ran any trackers, they only indexed torrents from other trackers.

I'm currently downloading the 10th Nov edition of the Late Show (main guest Jack Hanna)
from the BAJSKORV link on Latebyte. The Pirate Bay's (now obsolete) tracker URL comes
up in the list of trackers in uTorrent, which is partly the reason why it's currently only
slouching down the line (at this end) at about 20-30Kbps, sometime slower.

The Pirate Bay have recently ditched their tracker servers in favour of Magnet links that
utilise DHT and Peer Exchange technologies, that most private torrent trackers forbid.
They say it's more decentralized to prevent service interruption from legal threats.

Demonoid is still down, since their servers had some kind of data loss problem several
weeks ago, so I personally can't see them coming back online anytime soon, if at all.

Most of the other torrent sites out there are either private ones that require members
to keep a good uploading ratio, or crap ones full of duff torrent links leading nowhere!

In essence, we seriously need to get Dave back on TV, so we don't have to go through
this rigmarole of downloading via torrents, falling several weeks behind, then trying
to catch up by watching several shows in one go whenever we can find the time!

Disappointingly one of the best sites to get the talk shows seems to have disappeared: l*tesh*ws.org

Anyone know what's happened to it?
