Late Show with David Letterman (Part 2)

I've just seen this report and video on Virgin medias homepage, I'm not sure what to think to be honest.
All I will say is, that Dave, like everyone else on this planet is only human, and just as fallible as the rest of us.
I hope he can work things out with his wife.
I for one, will continue to support him and watch his show as long as he is on air!:)

That's unexpected - I know it wasn't doing well in the ratings (Jay's show) but I thought they would just move it to 10.30pm or something.

This is another black eye for Conan - first he gets his dream job of hosting Tonight only to find out Leno is still going to be preceeding his show, and now NBC are effectively saying "oops, we want Jay back at 11.30pm - bye Conan".

I really hope they move Conan to 10.30pm and have Leno at 11.30pm - that would make more sense. Then again what would happen to the News?

----

On a different topic - Jonathan Ross leaving the BBC:

He's been on Chelsea Lately's E! talk show recently so I wonder if he's signed a deal in the US for a chat show? As Dave is meant to be retiring sometime between this year and 2012 perhaps they are going to move Craig Ferguson to the Late Show and have Jonathan Ross host The Late Late Show. It's a longshot but they have been known to get in hosts from overseas for Late Late before - ie. Craig! - so Wossy might be a possibility.

Or - back to the topic of Conan/Leno - I wonder whether this will push Conan to move to CBS when Dave retires and Conan will host Late Late?

Unusual not to do a Thanksgiving show.
So Paul H, better get tickets smartish when you arrive.
Assuming that these show will be taped next week.
Have fun.

Kudos to Ms Birkett then for not selling out.

Adults in high tension work situations bonding to predictable conclusion

Hurt feelings for Regina(?) if in her timeframe but a) she had the choice to to marry or not DAVID LETTERMAN who she presumably had some handle on personality-wise before deciding. b) Big picture, shagging is just what it is, and marriage isn't that. c) They sustain (-ed?) a functioning 21st century family unit, let's be grown ups, this is life...

No one died.

Excellent news. :D

Paul Shaffer - "She puts her hand into a muff" :D

So we know it's going to be Jay Thomas and Darlene - I wonder who the other guest will be. I always find Rosie Perez or Amy Sedaris hilarious but it might be nice to have Regis on the big Christmas show for once? :)

Can't really see Paul as George from Seinfield somehow! Although he was excellent in This Is Spinal Tap, so we know he can do comedy acting.

Really looking forward to his book, may pre-order it from Amazon.
