Last Movie You Watched? (Part 3)

brazil - seen this before, it's ok ,not really amazing.I did start to grow a little tired of it toward the end, I felt it drags a bit. I don't think I watched it all first time around.

Enchanted

Lovely Disney movie. Not as good as the best Disney movies, but definitely up there near the top. I loved it, beautifully magical movie.

9/10

10,000 BC

Wasn't what I thought it would be, but I was pleasantly surprised at what it actually was. Loved the girl's name, Evolet. And the scenes at the pyramiRAB were nothing short of epic, good movie in all.

7/10

JFK (Directors Cut)

My bum was considerably sore after sitting through 3 and a half hours of this, but it's a fantastically well made piece of cinema, even if it's a long way off the mark as far as the truth is concerned. Amazing cast, I hadn't seen it since it was released and had forgotten John Candy was in it, what a nice surprise :) Heavy duty noRAB to Joe Pesci, Costner, Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Oldman. The only part that really irks is the Gawd Bless Americaaa scene at the end in court when Costner is crying because Uncle Sam is a bit of a wrong 'un

9/10

Le Boucher. 1970. Hitchcockian French thriller directed by Claude Chabrol. 7/10

The Eve Of St. Mark. 1944. Bit flowery and prosaic in places, but thought provoking and enjoyable. 6/10

The Omen. 1976. Faultless horror. 10/10
Damien: Omen II. 1978. 8/10
Omen III: The Final Conflict. 1981. 8/10

Tamara Drew

One very boring film.

This is another to add the ever expanding list of desperately unfunny British comedies. Unless you are desperate to see Gemma Arterton on an enormous screen wait for it to come on TV and save your money.

2/10 based on the fact the countryside looks beautiful.

Four Lions

Black comedy film by Chris Morris, in which four incompetent would-be Islamic suicide bombers plan and train for a suicide mission. The film is what you'd expect from Chris Morris, in that it's provocative and very near to the mark, but if you like your comedy very dark, then this film should be for you. I found it a bit slow to begin with, but it picks up a lot and
enRAB with a bang.

Yesterday watched "The Condemned" the 2007 film starring vinnie jones , steve austin etc and that fella from home and away which makes sense as the entire film was made is austrailia.

personally i prefer stuff like the running man which stanRAB up better 23 years later against a film of 3 years ago which lacks credibility.

imagine going around all the lifer jails in the world and asking for their most dangerous death row inmate to play last man/woman standing? ,

blatent that running man was an inspiration - the bodybuilding hero who is set up , numerous unknowns being killed , i could go on but i won't.

the film never draws you in and although i was impressed with what was achieved with a $20M budget , i would not watch it again.

overall */5 or ***/10

Running on Empty (1988)

Really enjoyable movie! The casting and acting was spot on. Special mention goes to River Phoenix - he was utter perfection! Such a sad loss to the acting world.

8/10
