The Blind Side
Sandra Bullock absolutely amazing in wonderful heart warming true story of a wealthy white family taking in a homeless young black kid from the projects and the life changing effect it had on both parties. Superb

Frost/Nixon
Didn't think I'd enjoy this, as the subject matter doesn't interest me at all, but it was a really intriguing film and the performances of Michael Sheen as Frost and Frank Langella as Nixon were mesmerising.

The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor
Oh dear. What on earth were Michelle Yeoh & Jet Li thinking agreeing to this? Mummy 1 & 2 are both excellent pieces of escapism, this was just turgid and dare I say ridiculous even for these kind of films. Rachael Weiz was a big miss, her replacement Maria Bello was totally miscast and her English accent was abysmal. The sfx were decent except for the Yeti's which looked like something out of the Scooby Doo films and the film itself was chaotic and lacking any real depth. Mummy 4 neeRAB to go back to it's roots: Egypt, one monster and a less CGI more story. Disappointing.
