Cancer Bats - Grenades
Not one of their better songs. 3/5

Sparta - The Most Vicious Crime
First song I've haerd by them, good stuff. 4/5

The Clash - The Right Profile
I've heard this somewhere before... good song. 3.5/5

Every Time I Die - Rebel Without Applause
On paper, I should like this band. But I hate them. SO MUCH. 1.5/5

Jawbreaker - Bad Scene, Everyone's Fault
Cool, they're an older band right? Probably influenced Green Day's early sound. 3.5/5

If It Ain't Ruff - N.W.A.
Not bad, I've been meaning to listen to them. I'll have to get more.

Married With Children - Oasis
Meh, don't really care for Oasis. D:

This Boy - Franz Ferdinand
Kinda liked this. I've been meaning to listen to Franz Ferdinand more, too.

Andy, You're a Star - The Killers
I like this song loooots. I haven't heard it for a while.

All Apologies - Nirvana
It's alright, one of the only Nirvana songs I ever cared to listen to.

MAJOR BUMPAGE

Mojopunk's Library:
Runnin' With The Devil-Van Halen
Not much of a classic rocker, but this song provided the amount of cheesines that makes me love Van Halen's hits.

Reassurance Rests In The Sea-The Fall of Troy
I used to be really into FOT, then I realized how annoying they were. Their self-titled album is still pretty great though, and this is one of my favorite tracks on it.

Out of Focus-Blue Cheer
Very pshychedelic stuff. Remniscent of a band I really love, Leaf Hound. But I found this to be somewhat boring. Very...droning for 'blues rock'

Japanese Spy Transcript-Maybeshewill
Heard the band name but never the music. Now I'm definatley going to get an album. Best song out of the 5.

Freeze Sucker-The Datsuns
There's not much garage rock I can actually stand to listen to, but this was suprisingly good. Usally the vocals turn me off, but these were much more controled.

Fasho's Library

Stephen Lynch-Albino
funny guy, funny AS HELL song. surprisingly pretty intimate.

TV on the Radio-Dancing Choose
kind of an electronic song. gets kinda sweet in the chorus. overall a pretty upbeat and enjoyable listen

Jamison Parker-Your Song
-pretty similar to the last songs, in that it has kind of an indie alternative sound and it's pretty singable

Say Anything-You're the Wanker, If Anyone is
-I've been wanting to get into this band for some time. i like the guitar lines and generally singability of this song. didn't notice the bass until halfway through the song. it also speeRAB up near the end.

Brand New-The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows
oh god i remeraber this song! in my opinion it's pretty sad but at the same time some good emotive music.

in all, i give this a B. some good stuff, but try to check out some more genres.

Talk Talk-New Grass
A little too chillout for me, good track in it's own right though.

Tinariwen-Amidinin
Never heard of them before, but it had a really catchy tune so I might have to check them out.

Midnight Oil-When The Generals Talk
Freaking amazing. I will definatley be listening to more of Midnight Oil.

Bruce Sprinsteen-Backstreets
Not much of a Springsteen fan, but this was passable.

Public Image Ltd.-Seattle
The only PIL song I really like, nice choice.

Mine's in the sig, be careful though, whenever I listen to my library it plays some of the worst songs in my collection.

Alright I'm all set and ready to play Antonio's library...but I'm not seeing your last.fm link in your sig?

I even went through the trouble of temporarily showing signatures so I could get your link. :p:

edit: nevermind...the last.fm widgets were temporarily not displaying, so I couldn't see it. Got it now...listening. So consider this a placeholder for Antonio's library.

:eek::o: I am a shattered man. Has The Saints been sadly confined to the dustbin of Punk history?

Radio Birdman made a great mark on Australian music but The Saints were forerunners. They deserve to be mentioned in the history of the genre. They were playing fast driven 3 chord thrash and claimed the influence of the MC5 and the Stooges as early as 1974. They put out a single, (I'm) Stranded, independently in 1976, long before some of their contemporaries. There has even been a TV doco here about (I'm) Stranded. Geldof said they were an influence.
Perhaps a history and a few album reviews are in order in the journal.

Sorry to go off topic.

well, w/out one, i'd say you wouldn't be able to participate in this thread, because you'd need one if the next person wants to do it, otherwise they'll skip you.

but if you want to hear the music off a my last fm page, click the widget in my sig(the blue thing with the songs on it), then you'll be on my last fm page. then scroll down to where it says "[username]'s library", and there should be a button saying "Play Library".

Hollywood Undead - No. 5
Didn't really like this one. It has kind of funny lyrics, though.

Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.
Hmm, I've thought about listening to more Gorillaz, but I don't know. This song was meh. D:

AFI - Girl's Not Grey
Lol, oh god...

Hollywood Undead - Undead
I couldn't make it through this song. Can't stand screaming.

Thrice - The Artist In The Arabulance
I don't like this one much either.

Wow, I'm sorry all of those were negative.

Link's in my sig.

Radiohead-Polyethylene (Parts 1 & 2)
I've actually never heard this song before, judging from the comments it's one of their more popular b-sides. OK Computer is one of my all-time favorite albums, so how can I really say no to this song? 3.5/5

Faith No More-Woodpecker From Mars
Faith No More is one of those banRAB that I've had on my "check-these-guys-out" list for over a year and have never gotten around to listening to any of their stuff. This is apparently an instrumental, great bassline. The song really doesn't seem to do much though for an instrumental, just seemed like it repeated the same two bits. This probably wasn't the best song to listen to first since I have never really listened to these guys, but overall I enjoyed it. Another 3.5/5.

Jeff Buckley-Calling You (Live)
Another artist I've been meaning to check out for awhile, what a great voice. Pretty raw live performance, another 3.5/5.

Dead Kennedys-Your Emotions
Didn't enjoy this one, sorry. Not a punk fan. 2/5.

Muse-Invincible
Love me some Muse. I didn't enjoy Black Holes quite as well as I did Absolution, but it was still a fine album. This song didn't quite do as much for me as some others, but still a 4/5.

Couldn't find 4ZZZ's so,
tightlyundone's library:

Organized Konfusion - Stray Bullet

Looks like I picked the right person. Some tight underground hip-hop, this is Pharoahe Monche's original group, been meaning to cop some of his stuff. Track is ****ed

Of Montreal - She's A Rejector

Only have the genius Sunlandic Twins, this is what you want from your Elephant 6 really. Electronics are more prevalent but well-used by this band.

Dean Martin - Dream

It gets better. Rat-Pack crooner, this is pure. Nice and hissy. Scott Walker follower here so it's always good to trace it back and get some education.

Michael Jackson - Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'

YES. One of my favourite songs from one of my favourite pop landmarks. Ace. 'You're a vegetabllllle....'

Japan - In Vogue

A glammy synth group I never got around to, this song was so-so, but I know they have much better songs. Unfortunately was unable to hear the lyrics =/
