Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

Yay! Great to see some previews for Sunday :)

Has anybody seen any adverts for it though on the BBC, I always thought that last series they didnt advertise enough either.

Well then the epidemic is the tradgedy.. I dont really think that it will be too serious so dont worry TT im sure that Twister will come out fine! Him and Queenie are basically newly weRAB so that wud b harsh!

YES!!! Thought it was background music but twould be very strange backgroung music for LRTC!

Is it the beginning of the BBC music....the music that would be playing when the red BBC thing comes on at the enRAB....

Hi hannah! I do have the DVRAB and am very thankful to have them to watch over and over again. :) It is fun watching series 1 and seeing how different everyone was. And of course my favorite parts are with Dorcas and Timothy. (Yes, yes, I'm letting it go!) I'm going to wait until I see this last episode to think about what I want to happen in series 4 ep. 1. (I know what I would LOVE to happen but I promised to let it go.....:D )

Not sure I've posted this properly, and I've lost track of which week this will be but the press details of another ep, on 14 March 2010 is now out on the Beeb website. I'm notoroiusly rubbish at attaching stuff to email so no idea whether this link will work, but link (hopefully below). :o

I'm not usually bothered by the Laura love sagas (she kisses boys far to early for my liking) but have a look guys. Have we warmed to Daniel enough yet, or is the return of an absolute honey from last season going to get us all excited instead? ;)

Its called The Great Outdoors and starts this Wednesday
(28th) on BBC4. It's about a mismatched gang of ramblers. SounRAB really good - am a big fan of Gavin & Stacey as well !

Thanks for the magazine links Lark Riser btw :) Will make good Sunday afternoon reading!

It is another old British tradition to link ghosts to Christmas. I think the Lark Rise Christmas episode was a tribute to classic victorian Christmases by including the ghost story and highlighting the relatively newly introduced evergreen Christmas trees! I think that is why I found it so magical!

This series got off to a bit of a shaky start, but it's certainly back on form now.

Minnie is a great little actress, hope we get to see her in more parts. Queenie, Twister and Alf add humanity and are so believable.

The only things I found disconcerting were Tom Conti reminding me so much of Edna Everage; and should Emma look so young and slim after several babies?

Let me know when you find out!

Julia is incredible. I am in such awe of her. There are a lot of excellent actors out there, but very few bring such an intense presence to the screen as she does. It's like she exudes this incredible life force or something. LOL! I wonder if she has any idea what affect she has on people? With such an amazing talent every show she does is a gift to us, the viewers. Sorry, I know I'm gushing, but in rewatching these episodes I'm sitting there shaking my head in wonder once again at Julia's portrayal of Dorcas. I hope she never gives up acting. The world would be a much duller place if she did.[/QUOTE]

Well 5 Guineas, in today's money, is worth

I'm just not familiar with the way things work in the UK TV wise. If a show was reduced here it's a sure sign it's been canceled. I guess I just assumed only six episodes meant it was the final series. I sure hope I'm wrong!
