Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

You do make me laugh SS :D

Yes it does work....... too many worRAB :o Anything interesting in there?

Don't forget to put the subs on Sunday night.... that's what my Nan does ;):p

Thank you, I think that's the first positive comment I've had regarding Creek. It wasn't one of my favourite jobs, challenging, and gruelling, mainly because I had to wear such excruciatingly high heels.. Some characters come to you quite easily, but if I'm honest, I felt a little desperate with that one, and was winging it a bit!! I loved the writing though, so clever.

I honestly don't know what to think. Thomas' annoying behaviour made me check the time like three times, wondering how much was left. Usually I never want it to end.

And why would Dorcas suddenly start doubting herself just because she talks to mr Daniel 'oh I'm in so much agony because of what I've done so please forgive me, eventhough I'm a disgrace to all journalists and act only for the sake of my own benefit - besides I'm sooo gorgeous everyone will eventually forgive me anyway' Whatever-his-surname-is. I mean, why would she listen to him?

On the whole, they were all acting rather strange... Personally, I think it was the full moon.

Also. The font never got done, did it? If it did, HOW on earth did he manage to do all that in such a short time?!? I was kind of doubtful already when he had three days and wasn't even half done - but then, what do I know...

Don't get me wrong. I still enjoyed it, just not as much as i would like. I agree that it neeRAB a story arc, something to keep me hooked.

i love that scene with zillah
i love minnie but sometimes i miss zillah's "aint havin it" attitude

i hate that caroline it so stupid in this episode
she's pregnant and has 4 children in lark rise
she really cannot believe that her running to candleford would do any good

I love the sound of Mischief Night--it reminRAB me of what Halloween used to be here before it just became all about getting candy. People used to play tricks on each other and kiRAB still say "trick or treat"! when going door to door. It's too bad it died out in Britain. As for Michaelmas, I never quite understood what that was, but after seeing last week's episode it looks a lot like our Thanksgiving holiday.

I did indeed see the 2008 Christmas special! I was a little surprised at the amount of supernatural element to it but then again I LOVE ghost stories so it was right up my alley.
Christmas IS a magical time of year after all!
Speaking of the Christmas episode, I remember being so excited to see it because I had read a synopsis of the show which said that Dorcas gets a Christmas letter from Timothy. I waited and waited for that scene but it never happened. I guess it got cut?

As far as other characters are concerned it's hard to remember, all the eps seem to merge into one after we complete filming. Dorcas however, just continues to be Dorcas, or should I say 'Miss Bossy Boots..'

I do hope you all start enjoying it a little more.:)

Does anyone know if a cd of music from Larkrise has been issued? It would lovely to hear, especially if it contained John (Alf) singing, now that Angelheart has confirmed he really does have that wonderful voice and isn't miming. I'd like to be able to listen to some of the folk music he sings, while the the dance music played in Larkrise is so catchy, it's no wonder all the residents' feet start tapping as soon as they hear the first notes of the accordion.

Angelheart, I must ask this, sorry it's a bit personal - but you have wonderful posture. Is it dance training, or just an extra tight corset? Thank you!

No but surely they would have had their own children:confused:
I haven't seen this episode yet so I don't really know what I'm talking about:D

Oh I forgot ..........welcome LRG:D

Looks like next week is a completely Candleford episode:eek:
