Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

?? I didn't say anything about not being able to criticise - I have done plenty of that in my time. I liked it last night, are we not allowed to appreciate now?.....

I think the thing is there is no time line, this episode could have been set weeks after the measles - it's a snap shot in time.

Things like Dorcas not mentioning JD on the terrace were fine for me, beause they were not relevant to the storyline. JD is not coming back. If he was mentioned all over the place is would be confusing. If things like missing Sydney bother me I just imagine it as the highlights of the goings on and think he must not have done anything interesting. I also thought Vic Hamilton leaving was dealt with well. they had been leading up to something like that for weeks.

Whilst I think it would have been more interesting for her to marry JD and then have to deal with being a married woman - I agree that as that didn't happen it would be silly for her to have a love interest this series. People are sick of seeing Laura fall for every male that rides into town, same would be said of Dorcas.

Anybody else wonder if Dorcas' interest in Mr Rippington was because he loved Isabel before she married and still loved her? Ref to Sir Tim?

Hmmm...I'll have to watch it when I get home. Might have to do a brief revision!

Wait, if Laura wrote the poem to Miss Ellison and then she copied it, Laura still would have had to get the poem from somewhere, right?

I agree, I quite liked the last couple of episodes but this one not as much.

Getting a bit fed up with Laura and her love life and Robert getting a bee in his bonnet is getting tiresome. Robert - smile and lighten up for once you miserable sod!

As for Alf and Minnie. Please god, no. I like them seperately as characters and frienRAB but not together. I too wonder what has happened to Nan

Glad it's not just me that's noticed!

I'll carry on watching if only for the comical Thomas and the Pratt sisters.

More randomness, but David Cameron has just admitted to being a fan of lark rise to candleford and got a mini cheer for it so it just goes to show how popular this show is. :D

Im glad im not going mad and imaging im seeing famous people.

But i do think richard armitage tops mine (no offense karl/twister) he is a really really good looking man. lol.

It would be nice to have sir tim back and i sort of hope laura chooses daniel, fisher was mean he just ditched her. Daniel stayed. Overall I just want to see more of dorcas and minnie.

The world we live in is different nowadays. By 20 I had achieved very little, had a few jobs, spent money on rubbish and had nothing to show for it! By 42 the best thing I achieved was knowing how to survive, being there for people and actually learning to enjoy a contented life where I have just enough of everything I want.

We're not getting that in Scotland:mad:, cheapskate STV aren't buying it, along with several other new series. So looks like I'll have to navigate ITV player, which is not easy at the best of times:D

Hey MrB!:D:D

I missed the second series - but have to say comparing the first to this latest one I definitely prefer the first one.

Yep. Not asking for a whole scene about it; just a few worRAB at least, rather than pretend a character never existed.

It wasn't a dislike from me. I think I need a second viewing though.
Still loving the Pratts; and Ruby's stand on buying stamps :D
