I'm used to working with plates but am now working with large, suspended volumes. I used to get the desired concentration by taking my desired seed concentration/my actual cell count (ex. 2.5 x 10 5/ 1.8 x 10 6). But- with having a 5L culture now for example, would that be (2.5 x 10 5/ 1.8 x 10 6) x 5000? Please help! C1xV1=C2xV2 is just not clicking this evening...
