"KuroKami" to Broadcast in US, Japan and Korea Simultaniously

im not really surprised about Korea, since the author's Korean, but in the US, very pleasant surprise!!!, i have no idea what channel that was it said it was going to be in, but i hope i have it!

It's disappointing though that BANDAI is airing it on ImaginAsian TV instead of Sci Fi's Ani-Monday, especially when they could have delayed it to January 12 to air it on Ani-Monday.

Also, just because it lists it as airing in the US on January 8, that doesn't mean BANDAI is airing it first considering there is a 10-12 hour difference, meaning that 2:40 AM airing in Japan is before any of them and making the US airing the middle of the three.

I've been dreaming of something like this forever, and now that it's come true... it's on a station you can't get anywhere near Vermont. Of course no other American stations show anime on Thursdays at 8pm, so it can't really be helped. It's still sweet that this is actually happening, and hopefully something with a future anime will work out where it's scheduled to air on Mondays at 11pm or something like that so it can air on a station that people actually get. I hope we hear how it is from the 3 people who actually get ImaginAsian TV.

That is what I said. There is a 14 hour difference between the US Eastern Time Zone and Japan, That means 2:40 AM on January 9 in Japan is 12:40 PM on January 8 in the US- which means its nearly 7 1/2 hours difference (2:40 AM compared to 8 PM, which would be 10 AM in Japan), not 4, and it means Japan still airs it first, despite the day. Also, 10 PM in South Korea on January 9 would be 7 AM on January 9 in the US- a 15 hour difference, meaning the US airs it second.

I wish more anime would do this. Though technically this is Korean animation no?

Whats this show about anyway, anyone know.

Sadly, I won't be watching it since I've never heard of ImaginAsian TV. Wow, its barely available in just a few areas of a few states. Hopefully they'll eventually air the dub on Sci-fi's ani-monday so we can all enjoy it.

To bad they are not streaming it as well. Then I'd be able to enjoy it.

Not necessarily. Toonami Jetstream had streaming rights for Hikaru No Go while ImaginAsian had broadcast rights. Since ImaginAsian is premiering this movie, they appear to have the broadcast rights, which BANDAI would have to sale to Manga to get on Sci Fi, which would be difficult if ImaginAsian has those rights. For the record, it's the Sci Fi network, with no hyphen (-).

Whoa! Laura Bailey from TX? Jason Griffith/Chris Kromer from NY? And Stephanie Sheh/Julie Ann Taylor from CA? My vision of cross-regional casting really IS coming true!

She still does Shin-chan and VAs for various FUNi productions like One Piece. However, she mostly does secondary and quirkier roles like Kyle Hebert and Travis Willingham (who was also in Code Geass as Darlton) do for FUNi these days.

*shrugs* A lot of people move to LA, plus sometimes dubbers fly people over (FUNi did that for Lisa Ortiz in Blue Gender and does it for Bailey, JYB, Hebert, and Willingham). Saffron Henderson, oddly, moved to LA and then moved back to Vancouver when she didn't get work. Sean Schemmel moved from Ft. Worth to NY, and ADV flew one of their voice directors to Vancouver to record Ocean lines when they picked up a sequel to a Geneon series dubbed in Vancouver.

Voice acting's a crazy world.
