kicker sub and amp HELP!!!?

if the sub is in the proper box and it as well as the amp r wired correctly it should shake the hell out of a civic..... ported box will be louder sealed box will be cleaner and a lil more punchy
 
I am thinking about buying a solobaric l7 12 (or thats what i think it is ) from a someone I know.
