kicker solobaric 12 vs alpine type r 12 ?

okay here are the choices 2 kicker l5 12'' solobarics in a sealed enclosure vs 2 alpine type r 12'' in a ported box. i want to know which one would be the loudest and have the best spl. ( will be powering with a alpine mrp-1000 amp) please help!!

The ported enclosure will get louder. The sealed enclosure will have a better SQ and a wider bandwidth response.

if i were you i would go with the kicker l5's they have Alot more bass and they are more durable

if it's an MRP-M1000 damn kid run the alpines with the alpines can't go wrong with that, there made for each other, and its nice to have a matching system.
but for loudness the L5 would be hella loud because it has more surface area as a square, but those kickers have a reputation to wear out normally and you would have to recone your sub, which you might as well buy new subs, and they could wear quickly.
Alpine type R's are an all around sub, they are loud and have quality.
go with the Type R's
