The cvx would bang way harder. The soloclassic is their newer model c12 which was their most basic model sub and was not very good. As for clearer, still the cvx but Kickers are not known for sound quality. They are known to get loud and stay loud. They are not very accurate but they do get loud so if yo want loud these are the subs for you.
