Kicker comp cvr problem?

ive blown 2 of these. the speaker itself doesn't fry its the wire that runs from the connectors to to coil that keeps burning up. any one else having this problem. everything is wired correct and if anything they are slightly under rated...amp-JBL 600 778 watts rms at 2 ohms monoblock speakers-2 comp cvr's 400 rms 2 ohm
 
is each one of the subs 2ohm ?? because if they are that's your problem your FINAL ohm is what needs to match 2ohm so if you have 2 single 4ohm subs wired to a 2ohm your fine but 2 2ohm wired to 4 or 1 isn't going to work
