I'm looking to get a sports bike....I dont care that much about performance...(im not a pro rider)...just looking for something thats reliable..rideable (comfortableish)...and relatively inexpensive im just having a hard time deciding what to get i know i would like to have either a kawasaki or suzuki because Hondas are too expensive for a vehicle i cant drive year round....but im not sure what to get....i would prefer someone with actual experience...not just an opinion...

if you want to know the models im looking between
Kawasaki: Ninja ZX 6R
Ninja 500R
ZZR 600

Suzuki: GSX-R600
GSX-R750
GSX-R1000
SV650SF ABS
or possibly the Hyabusa
i havent looked at Ducati because the closest dealer is almost 4hrs away....

Well i do know this...if ur not a pro and not interested in performance then the hayabusa is deffinatly NOT the way to go...same with the r1 and r7....GOOD LUCK!!!

Don't count out a used bike if you are trying to find a great bike within a specific budget. You could find a late model CBR600f4i for about the same price as the Ninjas on your list or the SV and cheaper than the GSXRs. They are fairly comfortable and quick with great last reliability. Honda makes some great bikes, lasts why they often cost a bit more.

It's really a question of comfort and personal preference. None of today's manufacturers make a bad bike.

If it was me, I'd go for the SV 650.

Any Triumph dealers in your neck of the woods? The Street Triple (675cc) is SWEET.

Yeah bro if it's comfort you're after honda is the way to go. I'm a Kawi man myself (07" ZX10R) and most of my friends ride Suzuki (GSXR's) but we do so out of style and performance. Hondas are the comfy ones of the bunch and reliability is second to none. Not to mention they handle really nice, so user friendly they are. CBR is a great bike and they're worth the bucks because it'll last you. Just so's not to completely ditch your question, out of the bikes you listed. Sounds like the SV650SF ABS would be right for you. Great bike with great handling and easily the most comfortable of the ones listed. You'd enjoy it.
